13 PhD-Studentships/Early-Stage-Researcher-positions in STORM-BOTS ITN PROJECT

STORM-BOTS is a new european training network (ITN) dedicated to liquid crystalline elastomers and soft robotics.


We are seeking to fill 13 early stage researcher (ESR) positions across Europe, including openings for chemists, fabricators, roboticists and theorists. The ESRs will collaborate on the design and creation of liquid crystal elastomers devices, and will benefit from training and secondment opportunities coordinated by the network.  Twelve of the positions include enrolment in a PhD program, while one is primarily based in a company.

Positions available at CSIC, Eindhoven University of Technology, Tampere University, Universidad de Zaragoza, Max Planck Society, University of Cambridge, Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, Holst Centre and PRECEYES B.V.

Applications are welcome from any nationality, but applicants must not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in the country of the recruiting organization for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately before the appointment.
